How Can We Help?
Here’s a rundown on all the Hawaii discount coupons I’m aware of.
Because let’s be honest, Hawaii holidays can get expensive and every little bit helps!
Please note: To avoid any miscommunication when using a coupon I always recommend letting the company know about it when making your booking.
Collections of Waikiki Coupons
Collections of Waikiki is an umbrella brand representing all of the shops located in the Starwood Waikiki hotels:
- Sheraton Waikiki
- The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort
- Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa
- Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
Anyone can pick up a Collections of Waikiki Coupon Book usually on display near the hotel lobby or at the front desk. You can also view the coupons online and print to use! The coupons are updated every six months and include great discounts, bonuses and special offers.

Oahu’s Best Coupons
Oahu’s Best Coupons offer a range of coupons for restaurants, shops and activities across the island of Oahu. The coupon mini-books are fohttps://www.thehawaiiadmirer.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=oizuledreviewdisclaimerund around town, usually in the brochure display bins along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. It’s also easy to view and save the coupons online. For information on how to use these coupons click here.
Little Yellow Coupon Books
The Little Yellow Coupon Books are often found in Hawaii airport brochure racks or around tourist areas in brochure display bins. You can also browse their website for Maui, Hawaii Island and Kauai specific coupons. The website isn’t very user-friendly but it does have a How Site Works section for detailed information.
This Week Magazines
Check the brochure racks in Hawaii airports and the brochure display bins in Waikiki for This Week Magazine. There are individual publications for Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island and Kauai and each booklet has plenty of advertisements offering special offers, discounts and coupons for things to do across the islands.
These brochure racks and display bins stock plenty of other magazines that can also feature the odd deal, so take a flick through a few and see what you find!
HIqpons App
I’ve recently found HIqpons, an iTunes app produced by This Week Magazine. It provides Hawaii travellers with coupons and deals throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Simply launch HIqpons and a list of the closest restaurants, shops and activities will appear in order of distance from your current location. To use HIqpons simply show the participating merchants the coupon from the app.
Groupon, Living Social and Entertainment Book
I’m under the impression that Hawaii discounts on Groupon are only for U.S. residents and most of the T&C’s stipulate this. Proceed with caution with Groupon, I know some non-U.S. citizens who have gotten away with using Groupon coupons in Hawaii, but I also know of someone who purchased a Groupon coupon and then was not allowed to book for Hawaii tour and lost her money. I have reached out to Groupon twice for clarification on the “rules” with absolutely no response.
Living Social does not allow you to book a U.S. product unless you are using a U.S. credit card, so this prevents non-U.S. residents from being able to buy or use these coupons. I also emailed Living Social and they confirmed Aussies can’t buy Hawaii Living Social coupons and use them 🙁
Entertainment Book coupons are the same, just for Americans. Again, you are prevented from joining Entertainment Book online with a non-U.S. credit card.
My suggestion is to take a look at the companies who offer coupons on Groupon, Living Social and Entertainment, find the direct company information and reach out to them. Either send them an email or call them and tell them you’re a non-U.S. resident and would love to book the deal but the sites don’t allow you. They might be willing to give you the same deal if you book directly with them!
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki charge a resort fee. One of the benefits of this compulsory daily room charge is a Shopping and Dining Coupon Book with savings of over 40 retailers.
