Costco Hawaii

Costco is a warehouse club, they buy products in big quantities which allows them to pass on great savings to their members.

Costco Hawaii stores are huge and always busy! Groceries can be purchased in small or large portions for really good prices. They sell many other items including souvenirs, electronics, clothing, appliances and more. Many items are supersized, bulk-buy or exclusive to Costco.

You must have a valid USA Costo Membership to enter and purchase products from Costco. For Australian travellers to Hawaii, a valid Australian Costo Membership can be used to “get you in” to Costo Hawaii warehouses.

To clarify further, you can’t enter any Costco store unless you show your Costco Membership Card, there is a person checking on the door. Also, when you go to pay you have to show your Costco Membership Card and the name has to match the purchaser debit/credit card. You can buy the annual USA Costco Membership at the Customer Service desk (approx. US$60 annual fee) but it might not be worth it if you don’t visit Hawaii often. It is cheaper to join the annual Australian Costco Membership and use that card if you are an Australian.
